Since obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 2007, Fawad has worked exclusively in the area of Plaintiff-side Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation. He has worked on a multitude of cases involving the full spectrum of injury victims – from chronic pain to Catastrophic – and has represented persons in the wide array of insurance contract disputes, including long-term disability and property damage claims.
During this time, Fawad has gained extensive courtroom experience, conducting Trials before judge and jury, and judge alone, along with making submissions at various Appellate courts, including, the Ontario Court of Appeal. Fawad has also appeared before various adjudicative bodies, including Arbitrations with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.
Fawad also provides counsel for all Real Estate transactions to purchasers, sellers, and those looking for refinancing options, and acting as their lawyer in associated transactions.
Fawad is an active member of his community, providing his time to several volunteer initiatives as a Board of Director and pro-bono legal counsel.
In his spare time Fawad enjoys working out, reading, basketball, football, dancing and writing poetry. Fawad is also conversational in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, and is literate in French.
